Fly in France is located on our property named “La Grande Michellerie”. Conveniently located in the centre of France, La Grande Michellerie is an ideal base for a relaxed family Holiday. Easily accessible by road, rail or air we provide the gateway to this beautiful area of France.
By Road Driving to La Grande Michellerie is simple following the auto route system. It is possible to drive the entire route from Calais, in less than 5 hours, without departing from the auto route except for the last 15 miles. We will provide a selection of possible routes with your booking information. By Air Tours airport is 40 minutes from La Grande Michellerie and is served by a daily flight from Stansted, the airport at Châteauroux is less than 40 minutes away but served by only one direct flight per week. Poitiers and Limoges airports are both approximately one and a half hours away and served by a number of flights from various UK airports. An alternative is to fly to Paris and hire a car or travel to Tours by train. By Rail Direct from London or Ashford to Paris or Lille by Euro Star and then to Tours by TGV we are located about 40 minutes drive from the station at Tours (please note Tours TGV station is called St Pierre des Corps). You could be at La Grande Michellerie in about 5 hours from the centre of London! To explore the fantastic scenery in our area we recommend those not driving to hire a car, but for those determined not to drive we can collect you from the airport or railway station at Tours.
